Youth Ministry Ideas Stats as of 4-18-08

October 27th, 2007, I posted about my stats with Youth Ministry Ideas. I wanted to give an update as to where I’m at now. I do realize that for many this isn’t important, but I wanted to share what’s going on with the site and also some things that I would like to see happen.

Below are some screen shots. Because I don’t want this post to be long, I have thumb-nailed them so click to see a bigger size. I will explain below each thumbnail what it means.

Above shows my referrers and top posts. You will notice that there is a variety of referrers which has always been true. This particular day was on a Wednesday which seems to be the highest visitors (lots of last minute youth ideas). You will also notice that my most visited post by far is the survivor lock-in. I basically spell out how I did the lock-in and you can download the schedule of the evening, different games I did, kind of prizes that I gave away and more. Since I posted, it is the most visited post.

Above is a picture that shows what people search for that brings up Youth Ministry Ideas. I have been very surprised that in google, I’m on the first page for “youth ministry lessons” as I have very few lessons on here (shhhhhh - don’t tell them). There are also many different terms that seems to pull up my site - amazing - and thanks wordpress:)

Other Stuff:

• Biggest referral is Google because of keywords
• Averaging about 450 page-views a day (Saturday is the worst day - about 200 and Wednesday the best 800 views)
• Thanks if you have blogged about this site or added me as a part of your blog roll
• I have a long ways to go as I want to make this site helpful for youth leaders

Wish List:

• LOGO - I would like to create an identity so if someone that reads is great at the photo-shop thing and has some time, please send me your idea on a logo for youth ministry ideas.
• DESIGN - I’m looking into getting this redesigned with the new Logo. If you are talented at wordpress themes and have time, please contact me and let’s see what we can come up with.
• YOUR IDEAS - What are you doing in youth ministry that you could share with other youth leaders? Let me know. Submit your ideas to me. I give credit where credit is do.

Let me know what you would like on here. What’s going to help you? Lessons? How about something that includes everything you need to do a youth night - for example: ice breaker, games, music, lesson.
